About the opportunity

A leading global investment and asset management organisation is looking for an experienced, commercially minded Digital Wealth Marketing Manager to lead its digital wealth marketing proposition in Germany, with scope to support expansion across Continental Europe.

This is a newly created role offering the opportunity to shape how an established investment business engages with a new generation of digital-first investors. You will develop and execute client-centric marketing strategies, campaigns and content designed to increase awareness, engagement and consideration across digital investment platforms and channels.

The successful candidate will bring strong digital wealth marketing expertise and a digital-first mindset, combining customer insight, data, content and performance marketing to turn complex investment strategies into compelling and accessible client experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver an integrated marketing strategy and activation plan for the digital wealth channel, aligned to commercial priorities and distribution strategy.
• Build and deepen relationships with digital wealth platforms, including online brokers, neo-brokers and robo-advisers, as well as the wider digital wealth ecosystem.
• Identify client segments and investment behaviours and develop compelling messaging and content tailored to digital audiences.
• Lead the development of marketing content across social media, websites, newsletters, video, webinars, articles and events.
• Develop and localise high-impact content, thought leadership and integrated campaigns for the German market.
• Expand existing marketing partnerships and establish new strategic relationships to support growth across Germany and wider Continental Europe.
• Lead the D2C marketing team, collaborating across Product Marketing, PR, Brand, Content, Digital and Events to deliver integrated multi-channel campaigns.
• Work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver campaigns that drive engagement, consideration, brand awareness and investment flows.
• Establish a scalable marketing centre of excellence for direct-to-consumer and consumer partnership marketing in Frankfurt, working closely with colleagues across Europe.
• Use data, client insight and campaign analytics to measure effectiveness, optimise investment and demonstrate ROI.
• Monitor competitor products, campaigns, advertising and digital activity, identifying opportunities for enhancement and innovation.
• Ensure all marketing activity meets relevant regulatory, compliance, risk and data protection requirements.
• Establish clear KPIs for marketing activity and provide insight-led reporting to inform future strategy and commercial decision-making.
• Manage third-party partners and suppliers in line with appropriate governance and oversight requirements.

You will ideally have:

• Significant experience developing and executing client-centric marketing campaigns across digital investment platforms.
• Experience marketing ETF strategies, with a strong commercial and innovative approach.
• Strong knowledge of the digital wealth and D2C landscape in Germany.
• Experience working with online brokers, robo-advisers or other digital wealth platforms.
• Experience creating digital marketing assets for D2C audiences.
• A strong understanding of investment management, digital wealth and the competitive landscape.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders within a complex, matrix organisation.
• A strong understanding of the regulatory environment governing D2C marketing.
• Excellent communication and content creation skills across formats including video, social and educational content.
• Strong project management and campaign delivery skills.
• Experience using data and customer insight to inform marketing strategy and execution.
• Fluency in German and English.
