Banking Relationship Manager

A leading provider of credit risk intelligence and financial data solutions is seeking a Relationship Manager to support and expand strategic relationships with major banking institutions across North America. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with senior stakeholders across risk, lending, treasury, markets, and data functions at some of the world's largest financial institutions.

This position sits at the intersection of relationship management, credit risk, and commercial strategy. The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening institutional partnerships, driving engagement, uncovering growth opportunities, and serving as a trusted resource to banking clients. What You'll Do

• Manage and expand relationships with key banking and financial institution stakeholders
• Develop a deep understanding of client organizations, priorities, and decision-making processes
• Lead recurring client engagements, presentations, training sessions, and strategic discussions
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives across commercial, product, research, and operations teams
• Track relationship activity, key initiatives, and opportunities within CRM systems
• Identify new users, business applications, and revenue-generating opportunities within existing accounts
• Monitor organizational and market developments that may impact client needs
• Represent the firm at industry conferences and networking events
• Serve as a trusted point of contact for client questions, feedback, and ongoing engagement

What We're Looking For

• 3-7 years of experience in relationship management, account management, client-facing consulting, credit risk, or financial services
• Strong understanding of banking, lending, credit risk, or capital markets environments
• Ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders across large financial institutions
• Experience managing complex client relationships and multiple concurrent initiatives
• Knowledge of concepts related to credit analysis, risk assessment, or portfolio management
• Commercial mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities within existing accounts
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms preferred
• Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
