Summer Program Overview
Our 10-week Summer Program places analysts directly inside Apollo's Engineering team as contributing members, working alongside engineers, investment professionals, and cross-functional partners on active initiatives. Responsibilities span hands-on development, systems design, and end-to-end solution delivery - supported by experienced mentors throughout the program. Primary Responsibilities:
Apollo Global Engineering is seeking a Summer Analyst to contribute and impact tomorrow's Technology. Our products and tech-driven solutions are how we move faster, cut through complexity and fuel growth. We start with the problem and solve it with experience and tech know-how. Our skilled engineers are passionate about using technology to accelerate change.
You'll also:
- Research, design, and build technology solutions that improve operations across Apollo's business lines
- Develop modern platforms and tools that drive impact across the organization
- Balance big-picture thinking with sharp attention to execution and detail
- Run smart experiments and proofs of concept to validate new ideas and drive discovery
- Connect engineering teams with key stakeholders, leaders, and subject matter experts to move initiatives forward
- Operate with urgency to identify and remove roadblocks that slow innovation
- Share learnings from successful experiments to surface new use cases across the enterprise
Qualifications & Experience
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in data analytics, software development, computer science or engineering, with a graduation date in May/June 2029 with an excellent academic record and a demonstrated interest in finance and technology through previous internships, jobs, and coursework
- Very strong and clear communication skills both orally and written
- Strong skills in Python, Java, or another OO language
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts through coursework, personal projects, or hands-on experimentation; familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) or experience calling LLM APIs is a plus - no prior research experience required
- Ability to problem solve, debug, and learn new analytical tools
- Experience with SQL or NoSQL Database (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, etc.)
- Familiarity with REST or GraphQL
- Knowledge of financial markets and/or fintech
- A collaborative thinker who can also work independently, multitask, and prioritize competing demands to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive and organized self-starter with a positive attitude, powerful work ethic, and strong attention to detail
Pay Range
80,000-85,000

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
