A bit about the job



The M&A team within Aviva Global Corporate & Specialty helps to deliver profitable growth across our transactional risk portfolio. The team provides specialist Warranties & Indemnities, Tax and Contingent insurance solutions for M&A transactions as well as underwrite complex and time-sensitive M&A risks while building strong relationships with brokers, clients and colleagues.



You'll help to strengthen and maintain our reputation for technical excellence, trusted advice and quality service delivery. As a senior member of the team, you'll also support junior colleagues' development and contribute to the continued growth of the business. We have proudly built a unique hybrid M&A book and our objective is to firmly establish ourselves as a strong, trusted and sustainable corporate M&A insure.




Skills and experience we're looking for

• Strong corporate legal background or M&A advisory experience.


• Excellent understanding of M&A transactions and transactional risk exposures.


• Strong relationship management skills with trading partners, including brokers, clients, and professional advisers.


• Proven ability to negotiate complex transactions and make sound underwriting decisions.


• Experience supporting, mentoring, or developing colleagues within a professional environment.

Nice to have

• Previous experience underwriting M&A, Warranties & Indemnities, Tax, Contingent and/or other Transactional Risk insurance products.

• Experience working on international or multi-jurisdictional transactions.


• An established network within the M&A insurance market.
