Seven Investment Management LLP London, United Kingdom
Group Real Estate & Projects Graduate Associate (18-month FTC)

About The Role

Purpose

This is an 18-month graduate placement reporting to the Group Director of Real Estate & Strategic Initiatives.

The role supports the delivery of the approved Office Services Strategic Review and its associated programme of change across Real Estate, Facilities and Office Services. It provides additional delivery capacity for strategic initiatives, operational improvements, workplace projects, technology-enabled solutions and business transformation.

The successful candidate will coordinate projects and provide reporting, governance and administrative support across workplace projects, acquisitions and integrations, supplier reviews, technology initiatives and operational change programmes. This placement is designed for a graduate seeking broad commercial experience in a fast-paced financial services environment, with an emphasis on project delivery, stakeholder coordination and operational improvement rather than technical real estate work.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of projects across Real Estate, Facilities, and Office Services.

• Maintain project plans, action trackers, risk logs, governance records, and related documentation.

• Coordinate project meetings, monitor actions and support delivery against agreed milestones, budgets, and key deliverables.

• Support office relocations, refurbishments, branding projects, and workplace improvement initiatives.

• Assist with acquisitions, integration activities, and broader strategic business projects.

• Prepare reports, presentations, business cases, Exco papers, and project updates for senior stakeholders.

• Support the implementation of initiatives arising from the Office Services Strategic Review, including new processes, service standards, and operating models.

• Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve efficiency, and reduce manual administration through workplace technology, automation, and AI-enabled solutions.

• Support change management, stakeholder communications, and business readiness activities.

• Assist with budget tracking, purchase orders, invoice processing, and supplier administration.

• Maintain SharePoint sites, departmental records, and project documentation.

• Support day-to-day Real Estate and Facilities activities, including supplier reviews and workplace experience improvements.

• Coordinate activities across internal stakeholders, suppliers, consultants and contractors, providing flexible support as priorities evolve.

About You

Knowledge

• An understanding of, or strong interest in, project management, business operations, workplace services or business transformation.

• Awareness of how project plans, actions, risks, budgets and governance information support effective delivery.

• Interest in how technology, automation and process improvement can enhance operational efficiency.

• Understanding professional workplace standards and the importance of clear stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Educated to degrees or equivalent.

• Previous internship, placement-year or other work experience in a professional environment is desirable.

Skills and other relevant information

• Strong organisational and administrative skills, with excellent attention to detail.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, adaptable approach.

• Willingness to take ownership of tasks and work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

• Experience with SharePoint, Power BI, Power Automate, Copilot or similar tools is desirable.

• Confidence working across Real Estate, Facilities, Office Services, Corporate Strategy, Finance, Transformation, People & Culture, IT Infrastructure and external suppliers.

• The placement offers exposure to senior stakeholders, hands-on projects and change management experience, mentoring, regular development reviews, and opportunities to build reporting, analytical and presentation skills.
