Chief Executive Officer
Could you be our next inspirational Chief Executive and help us achieve our mission of restoring hope and dignity through quality housing and support?
Adullam is a Community Benefit Society dedicated to supporting vulnerable individuals and households. We provide quality housing alongside tailored support, training, education and employment opportunities that help people build stable, independent lives and realise their full potential. Our tenants, residents and service users include asylum seekers, ex-offenders, expectant and new mums, people with mental health issues, recovering addicts, survivors of domestic abuse, those who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, and young people leaving care.
As our current Chief Executive will soon be retiring, we are seeking an exceptional leader to guide our organisation through its next chapter. Leading a committed workforce of approximately 270 colleagues, you will provide strategic and values-led leadership to deliver our vision, mission and long-term objectives.
This is a significant leadership opportunity within a complex, multi-regulated environment encompassing supported housing, general needs housing, and Ofsted-regulated services delivered across multiple locations. You will ensure organisational sustainability, regulatory compliance and the continued delivery of high-quality services, while championing our Christian ethos and culture.
We are looking for a strategic and inspirational executive with a proven track record of leadership within complex regulated organisations that deliver positive outcomes for vulnerable people. While experience of housing would be welcomed, we are equally interested in candidates from social care, health, local government, the voluntary or charity sector, education or other relevant regulated environments.
An accomplished relationship builder, you'll have the professional credibility required to engage effectively with regulators, local authorities, funders, partner organisations, churches and sector bodies. Equally important is your organisational transformation experience, sound financial and commercial judgement, and your ability to influence at Board, regulatory and political levels.
Our new Chief Executive must be able to demonstrate alignment with, and commitment to, our Christian ethos, mission and values. As such it is an occupational requirement in accordance with Schedule 9, Paragraph 1 of the Equality Act, for the holder of this role to be a practising Christian.
