About this opportunity

Help make a real difference to customers by guiding their protection applications from referral through to cover being in place, delivering a smooth and reassuring experience every step of the way.

Supporting our Cavendish business and reporting to the Protection Consultant Team Leader, you'll play a key role in helping our sales teams and customers navigate the protection application journey. Working closely with insurers, healthcare providers, consultants, advisers, and customers, you'll ensure cases progress as efficiently as possible while delivering excellent customer service.

As a Sales Support Administrator, you'll

  • Manage protection applications from referral through to acceptance and policy start.

  • Keep customers informed throughout the process via telephone and email, providing clear and timely updates.

  • Liaise with insurers, GP surgeries, and medical professionals to obtain information and progress applications.

  • Work closely with Consultants and Advisers to prioritise urgent cases and deliver outstanding customer outcomes.

  • Accurately maintain customer records and case updates within our CRM systems.

  • Continuously develop your knowledge of protection products, processes, and industry developments.

You'll join a supportive and collaborative team where your contribution is valued, with opportunities to develop your skills, expand your knowledge of protection products, and build a rewarding career within a growing business. Every day brings something different as you help customers secure the protection they need for the future

About us:

Cavendish Online is a highly respected, award-winning protection broker, trusted by thousands of customers each year. Known for our integrity, long-term customer focus and extremely high standards, we don't chase volume for volume's sake - we deliver products that genuinely make a difference.

Our customers already trust our brand and are actively seeking insurance, allowing you to focus on quality conversations, needs-based sales and outstanding outcomes, rather than cold calling or hard selling.

What you'll need:

  • Experience in a customer service, administration, operations support, or case management role.

  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage your workload effectively.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with confidence communicating by telephone and email.

  • Experience working to deadlines, service level agreements (SLAs), or performance targets.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling customer information and records.

  • A positive, proactive approach and a willingness to learn and develop.

And any experience of these would be really useful:

  • Experience within financial services, including banking, insurance, mortgages, protection, or financial advice.

  • Experience using CRM, case management, or customer database systems.

  • Experience maintaining accurate records and working with data, including Microsoft Excel.

  • Knowledge of protection products or the protection application process.

  • Experience liaising with insurers, healthcare providers, or other third-party organisations.

  • Understanding of regulated environments and the importance of delivering good customer outcomes.
