Senior Development Manager to join our ever-evolving
Global Merchant and Partner Experience Engineering team and help shape the future of global commerce.




Your Key responsibilities

• You will manage full software development lifecycle including testing, implementation, and compliance processes.


• You will collaborate with Engineering teams and other stakeholders through product design, bug verification and go-live phases.


• You will collaborate with Product managers, Architects, SRE and other stakeholders for ensuring successful delivery.


• You will take full ownership of Software Delivery from design to production deployment for the Products/Projects/Epics assigned to you


• You will work with managers/supervisors to identify and allocate technical resources, e.g., programmers, business analysts to projects within Development. This would include a mix of FTEs assigned to the development organization and contractors


• You will ensure applications meet appropriate quality standards and adhere to the organisation's application development and delivery process standards.

• Skill in leading, supervising and managing effectively under pressure


• Ability to be comfortable interacting with senior/executive management


• Ability to manage multiple projects, activities and problem areas


• Ability to lead, direct and manage effectively


• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing


• A 'think like a client' mindset - understanding what matters most, and confidently leading consultative, value-driven conversations.


• Strong problem-solving skills and innovative thinking to navigate challenges and resolve issues effectively.


• A proactive, accountable approach - taking ownership, acting early, and delivering great client outcomes.


• A genuine interest in Global Payments' products and the wider payments industry, with a passion for learning and continuous improvement.

It's a bonus if you have

• A background in payments, fintech, or a client-facing commercial role.


• Experience in SAFe/Agile.
