Fletcher George is delighted to be representing a highly regarded, high-growth firm of Chartered Accountants and Tax Advisers in the Leatherhead area, seeking an experienced Tax Supervisor / Senior Tax Consultant.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing Tax team with an impressive client portfolio, covering Private Client and Corporate Tax. Clients include High Net Worth Individuals, Trusts and Estates, entrepreneurs, family businesses and Directors of successful owner-managed groups.

The role can be shaped around your strengths and ambitions, whether your focus is Private Client Tax Compliance or you would like to develop your Tax Advisory and Corporate Tax experience over time.

The Role

Working closely with the Tax Partners, you will manage a varied portfolio and provide technical support to clients and junior colleagues.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a portfolio of Private Client Tax clients.
• Preparing and reviewing complex Self Assessment Tax Returns.
• Delivering high-quality Tax Compliance services and managing deadlines.
• Acting as a trusted point of contact, providing practical and commercially focused Tax guidance.
• Reviewing work prepared by junior team members and providing support where required.
• Identifying tax planning opportunities and discussing these with the Tax Partners.
• Gaining exposure to complex Private Client and Corporate Tax matters.
• Taking on additional Corporate Tax and Advisory work where this aligns with your interests.

About You

You may be ACA, ATT or CTA qualified, or qualified by experience, with strong practical experience and technical knowledge across UK Tax.

Ideally, you will have:

• Experience managing Private Client Tax Compliance.
• Experience reviewing Tax work and supporting junior colleagues.
• Strong UK Tax technical knowledge.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• A proactive, organised approach.
• A genuine commitment to delivering excellent client service.
