We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate to join our Employment Team at ARAG Law. Whether you're looking for the flexibility of remote working or a hybrid role from our Bristol or Bedwas offices, you'll be joining a highly supportive team with genuine opportunities for progression.



You'll work on a varied caseload covering all aspects of employment law, advising both employees and employers on contentious and non-contentious matters. From unfair dismissal and discrimination claims to whistleblowing cases and advising on settlement, no two days are the same.



This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys litigation, values client relationships, and wants to develop their expertise within a collaborative and ambitious team.

About the Team



Our Employment Team consists of more than 50 legal professionals, ranging from Paralegals to Senior Associates. We are a friendly, collaborative group committed to delivering outstanding client outcomes while supporting one another's development.

What You'll Be Doing



You'll manage your own employment law caseload and advise clients across a wide range of matters, including:



Unfair dismissal claims

Discrimination claims

Whistleblowing disputes

Employment Tribunal proceedings

Settlement negotiations



You will have the opportunity to take ownership of your files, develop advocacy skills where appropriate, and gain hands-on experience across a broad range of employment disputes and advisory matters.




About You



We're keen to hear from candidates who have employment law experience and can demonstrate:




Essential

Experience advising clients on employment law matters

A good understanding of Employment Law and Employment Tribunal Rules of Procedure

The ability to manage your own caseload effectively

Excellent client care and communication skills




Desirable

Experience working within an employment law team

Experience managing litigated employment claims

Qualified Solicitor or equivalent qualification
