Project Manager - Structural Engineering vacancy for our Zurich based client in the Energy sector.

Your tasks:

• Manage technical projects in the area of steel structures and provide support throughout all project phases, from sales to design and production, up to on-site assembly.
• Take technical and commercial responsibility for project execution, ensuring deadlines, budgeting, and material objectives are met while complying with relevant standards.
• Collaborate with sales, project management, project engineering, and customers to define project requirements and ensure compliance with standards.
• Act as the interface between Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) engineering and steel support engineering for effective coordination.
• Lead and coordinate project engineering teams located in Brno (Czech Republic), Chennai (India), and external partners for efficient project delivery.
• Initiate supply chain processes for creation and fabrication of steel structures and platforms, and ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

Your experience/knowledge:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in civil engineering.
• Professional experience in steel construction; knowledge of Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) is advantageous.
• Experience in technical project management within civil engineering.
• Familiarity with structural analysis programmes (e.g. Scia Engineer, Staad Pro), CAD (3D and 2D AutoCAD), and BIM software (Tekla Structures) is a plus.
• Knowledge of EC, AISC and Building codes, EN 1090, and SAP advantageous.
• Language skills: English
