We're looking for ambitious students to join our 2027 Group Technology Office Graduate Talent Program.

You'll get to:

• develop and implement technical solutions
• play an important role in the transformation towards AI-native development journey
• deliver state-of-the-art payment solution and be part of strategic initiatives, including the integration with Distributed Ledger Technology DLT (Blockchain)

Your team:

You'll be working in the Group Technology Office located in Zurich with focus on payment solutions. We're responsible for sourcing, developing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting our world-class technology solutions. We're a global organization with multiple streams that align with each of the key functional areas within UBS to ensure that our solutions meet business needs.
Our global team is mainly responsible for UBS Payment Platform UPP which is used by CH, EMEA and APAC regions.

Based on your interests and experience, you could be placed as a Software Engineering Graduate, DevOps Engineer or Site Reliability Engineering Graduate.

We're looking for a candidate who:

• is a recent graduate (graduated in the last 24 months)
• has fully completed their degree and met all graduation requirements by the program start date
• has no more than two years of full-time work experience
has completed their bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in a MINT topic
• has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
• is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills
• is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines
• can evidence how experimental and responsible use of AI can improve outcomes and efficiency
• has a competitive minimum GPA of 4.5 according to the Swiss grading system
• has a basic knowledge / experience in JAVA or similar Object-Oriented Programming, understanding of SpringBoot framework is a plus (but not a must)
• has a basic Understanding of NoSQL databases (Mongo, Cosmos) and Containerization (Kubernetes, Docker)
• is striving to learn new technologies and to experiment with AI and to apply this in payment domain.

Our Graduate Talent Program is 18 months long, and designed to help you develop the skills you need to grow your career. To start, the program introduces you to our firm, provides professional and technical training and teaches you core skills and knowledge of the Group Technology Office. And it continues from there: by learning from your colleagues, you'll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and build your network. You'll have the opportunity to see beyond your job by participating in one, or several, rotations. If you're ready to work where no two days are the same, this program is for you.
