Financial Accountant WITH SAP Experience, North Dublin

We are currently recruiting on behalf of an international FMCG business seeking a Financial Accountant to join their finance team.

This is a broad financial accounting role with responsibility for month-end, management reporting, reconciliations and financial analysis , alongside the opportunity to contribute to improvements in finance processes and reporting systems.

The role includes:

• Managing key elements of the month-end close
• Preparing journals, accruals and prepayments
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Management accounts and financial reporting
• Variance analysis and financial commentary
• General ledger and intercompany accounting
• Supporting year-end accounts and audit
• Maintaining strong financial controls
• Using SAP for financial accounting and reporting
• Improving month-end reporting processes and systems
• Supporting wider finance projects and process improvements

We're looking for:

• Strong hands-on SAP experience - essential
• Excellent Excel skills
• Strong reconciliation and reporting experience
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification is desirable
