Job Description
- Deliver project management and consultancy support across commercial banking initiatives, including system implementations and process re-engineering.
- Lead medium-to-large scale projects, ensuring delivery within agreed scope, timeline and budget.
- Partner closely with business users, operations, IT, audit, legal and compliance to maintain strong project governance.
- Drive project prioritisation across CMB businesses and functions to optimise resource utilisation.
- Oversee portfolio-level budget management, resource allocation and project dependencies.
- Lead change impact, adoption and business readiness assessments to ensure smooth post-implementation transition.
- Proactively identify risks, issues and interdependencies, recommending practical mitigation strategies.
- Apply latest banking technology trends and best practices to improve efficiency, cost and customer outcomes.
- Foster a high-performing, engaged project team to deliver quality outcomes that exceed stakeholder expectations.
- Degree holder with solid banking background and relevant professional experience.
- Minimum 8 years' experience in banking, with strong exposure to commercial or business banking operations.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end project delivery, with strong business analysis capability.
- Hands-on experience leading cross-functional initiatives, including account dormancy or similar regulatory-driven projects.
- Confident communicator with demonstrated ability to engage and influence C-level stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving mindset, able to navigate ambiguity and work flexibly across domains.
- Familiarity with lending, payments, wealth, digital banking or customer lifecycle processes is highly advantageous.
- Fluent in English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Mandarin.
- Strong sense of ownership, service mindset and alignment with HSBC's ways of working.
