Position Description

We are looking for a Sr Solution Architect to join our IT department for the front business Market Connectivity team in Hong Kong.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

1. As part of the development delivery team, work very closely with business users, and other front office development and support teams to develop our Market Connectivity platform
2. Task planning, collect and handle requests from various parties
3. Continuously review and provide recommendation to improve the system
4. Liaise with other development teams to agree and document design of interrelated functions
5. Conduct code review and provide guidance to other team members
6. Unit testing, functional testing of the developed code
7. Responsible for timely and quality delivery of software solutions
8. Ensure full compliance to the firm's and regulatory requirements

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, or related field.
2. 5-8 years of related technical experience in banking systems
3. Knowledge of WPF would be a plus
4. Knowledge of OMS/EMS/Cash Equities concepts would be a plus
5. Experience in C# development
6. Exposure to software engineering tools/applications (like Git, JIRA)
7. Familiarity with Agile development processes and techniques
8. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
9. Proficiency in English is mandatory, Chinese speaking will be of advantage
