Our client, a leading insurance company in Hong Kong, is seeking an Investment Operations professional to support its growing investment function. This role requires a hands-on individual with strong post-trade operations experience and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage trade settlements across multiple asset classes.
• Support derivatives operations, including life cycle events and collateral management.
• Handle private markets transactions, including capital calls and distributions.
• Perform cash, position, and transaction reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve operational breaks and settlement issues.
• Liaise with custodians, asset managers, brokers, and internal stakeholders.
• Support process improvements and operational initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in Investment Operations, Middle Office, or Asset Servicing.
• Strong understanding of trade settlements and post-trade processing.
• Experience supporting derivatives and collateral management.
• Exposure to private markets operations is highly preferred.
• Background within insurance, asset management, banking, or financial services.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter with a willingness to learn and take ownership.
• Immediately available or available on short notice preferred.
