We are seeking a skilled L3 Infrastructure Engineer/Lead to provide hands-on technical leadership, production support and senior escalation coverage for one of our sizeable International investment banking clients.

Your new role

• Provide Level 3 production support for enterprise Managed File Transfer, SFTP, FTPS, Connect:Direct and bulk data distribution platforms.
• Lead the investigation and resolution of complex incidents, service disruptions, failed transfers, delayed transfers and client escalations.
• Perform application, Unix/Linux server and web application administration.
• Monitor production services, file flows, system health, capacity, performance and operational alerts.
• Support the onboarding, configuration and life cycle management of internal and external file transfer flows.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues across internal networks, external partners, secure perimeter services and DMZ environments.
• Manage production changes, releases, deployments, configuration updates and operational implementation activities.
• Support secure file transfer controls, including encryption, key management, certificate management, virus scanning, data leakage prevention and auditability.
• Coordinate incident resolution across network, database, storage, security, operating system, infrastructure and application teams.
  
  What you'll need to succeed
  
  
• 8-10 years of experience in production operations, infrastructure support and supporting enterprise Managed File Transfer or high-volume data distribution platforms
• Strong hands-on experience with Managed File Transfer technologies and secure file transfer protocols, including: SFTP, FTPS, FTP, HTTPS-based file exchange.
• Strong Unix/Linux system administration skills.
• Working knowledge of networking, databases, storage, information security and operating system troubleshooting.
• Experience with production incident management, problem management, change management and release or deployment support.
• Ability to write and maintain operational automation using Python, Shell scripting, Ansible or other scripting and automation technologies.
