My client, a leading bank in Hong Kong, is hiring a Head of Operations to oversee cash management and payment operations. He/She will ensure strong operational controls, effective incident management, timely escalation, and high-quality execution of operational processes—while partnering with Technology, Operations Control, Compliance, and Risk to ensure resilience and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

1. Own end-to-end operational performance for cash management and payment operations, including processing, approvals, validation, exceptions, reconciliation, and reporting.
2. Drive continuous improvement in workflows, controls, and operational productivity.
3. Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory / audit expectations for payment and cash operations.
4. Maintain operational risk assessments, control testing readiness, and evidence documentation.
5. Lead incident management for cash/payment operations

Requirements

1. Cantonese is Mandatory
2. Significant leadership experience in banking operations with strong focus on cash management and payment operations (or closely related payment processing operations).
3. Demonstrated expertise in operational risk, incident management, and escalation governance.
