Our client is a leading Hospitality Group headquartered in Hong Kong, with an established and growing presence across Asia and Europe. With a strong portfolio of well-recognised dining concepts and an entrepreneurial, fast-moving culture, the group is now looking for a seasoned Head of Human Resources to lead its people strategy and support the next phase of business growth.
This is a strategic yet hands-on leadership role, ideal for a HR professional who enjoys working closely with business leaders, building scalable HR infrastructure, and driving people initiatives in a dynamic consumer-facing environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesHR Leadership & Business Partnering
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior management on HR strategy, workforce planning, organisational structure, and people-related matters.
- Lead the HR function across Hong Kong and support regional markets across Asia and Europe.
- Partner closely with business and operations leaders to support business growth, talent needs, and organisational development.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Oversee recruitment strategies across corporate and frontline operations.
- Build a strong talent pipeline for key leadership, restaurant operations, culinary, and corporate roles.
- Enhance employer branding and employee value proposition to attract high-quality talent in a competitive hospitality market.
HR Operations & Policy Development
- Review and strengthen HR policies, procedures, employee handbook, and internal HR governance.
- Ensure HR practices are compliant with local labour regulations across relevant jurisdictions.
- Drive continuous improvement across HR processes, systems, reporting, and employee data management.
Compensation, Benefits & Performance Management
- Lead annual salary review, bonus planning, benefits benchmarking, and reward initiatives.
- Develop and enhance performance management frameworks to drive accountability and high performance.
- Provide market insights on compensation trends within hospitality, F&B, retail, and consumer sectors.
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Champion employee engagement, retention, learning, and career development initiatives.
- Support leadership in building a strong, positive, and service-driven culture across the group.
- Manage employee relations matters professionally and sensitively.
- Degree holder in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
- Solid HR leadership experience gained from hospitality, F&B, retail, luxury, consumer, or other high-touch service industries.
- Proven experience supporting multi-site operations and ideally regional or international markets.
- Strong knowledge of Hong Kong employment ordinance; exposure to other Asia or Europe labour markets would be an advantage.
- Hands-on, commercially minded, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English and Cantonese is preferred.
