Role Summary

We are a boutique hedge fund manager. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Fund Operations Associate to support the day-to-day operations of our fund management business. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a junior professional to develop expertise in fund administration, operations, and compliance while working closely with investment teams and external service providers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare and reconcile fund Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations on a daily basis
2. Manage daily cash movements and trade settlements with accurate tracking and timely reconciliation of any breaks
3. Calculate, monitor, and maintain daily fund risk metrics to ensure portfolio compliance
4. Support fund compliance and risk management activities through ongoing monitoring and internal reporting
5. Administer and monitor fund side pockets and post-investment follow-up activities for private-market investments
6. Prepare risk reports, monthly investor newsletters, and ad hoc reports as requested
7. Coordinate with the Investor Relations team on investor onboarding activities, including KYC/AML reviews and documentation execution
8. Liaise with investment teams, fund administrators, brokers, and service providers to ensure smooth fund operations
9. Support senior management on special projects and ad hoc initiatives

Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline
2. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities
3. Proactive and detail-oriented mindset with strong ownership of assigned responsibilities
4. Excellent communication skills with strong proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin fluency essential )
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
6. Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment under pressure while maintaining team collaboration

Preferred Qualifications

1. One to two years of relevant experience in fund operations, fund administration, accounting, compliance, risk management, or a related field
2. Prior experience at a sell-side financial institution
