A well-established securities and brokerage firm is growing its institutional equity sales desk in Hong Kong and hiring across Associate to Vice President level. If you know the Hong Kong and China equity markets and enjoy building strong institutional relationships, this is a strong platform to grow on.

About the opportunity

You will cover institutional investor clients, get the firm’s best research and trade ideas in front of them, and drive secondary commission by delivering sharp, timely coverage.

Your focus

• Build and grow relationships with institutional clients such as asset managers, hedge funds and long-only investors

• Distribute research, trade ideas and market views, and provide daily coverage

• Service client orders and work hand in hand with the trading desk

• Connect clients to analysts and corporate access events like roadshows and expert calls

• Keep clients close to the Hong Kong and China equity story and grow your wallet share

What we’re after

• A Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related field

• Institutional equity sales or investor coverage experience, anywhere from Associate to VP level

• An SFC Type 1 licence, or eligibility to obtain one

• Fluent English and Mandarin, written and spoken

• Solid knowledge of the Hong Kong and China equity markets, and ideally relationships to bring with you
