Role Summary

Inspire is seeking a visionary and hands-on Engineering Leader to oversee end-to-end software delivery and drive the digital transformation roadmap. In this pivotal role, you will scale offshore engineering teams, modernize the core enterprise architecture, and ensure banking platforms maintain the highest standards of scalability, security, and operational resilience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead, mentor, and scale high-performing offshore development teams while establishing robust delivery governance, code quality benchmarks, and automated testing protocols
2. Define and execute the engineering digital transformation roadmap to accelerate time-to-market for financial products
3. Modernize enterprise architecture by introducing cutting-edge frameworks, automation, and evolving the tech stack
4. Champion best practices across cloud-native architecture (AWS, GCP, Azure), CI/CD pipeline automation, and containerization
5. Serve as the technical authority and escalation point for critical production incidents
6. Drive Incident Management, Root Cause Analysis, and continuous disaster recovery and high availability planning under strict regulatory frameworks

Required Qualifications

1. 10+ years in software engineering with 5+ years in a senior leadership role within Banking, Digital Banking, or Fintech
2. Proven track record leading large-scale platform revamps and digital transformation programs
3. Extensive experience managing, optimizing, and scaling offshore development models
4. Strong technical foundation in Java, Spring Boot microservices, and enterprise backend architectures
5. Hands-on experience with major Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), Kubernetes, Docker, and automated CI/CD pipelines
6. Expertise in designing high-throughput, scalable systems using REST APIs, event-driven architectures, and microservices
7. Deep understanding of Incident Management, High Availability, and Disaster Recovery in highly regulated environments
8. Exceptional C-level communication, vendor negotiation, and cross-cultural leadership skills with composure under pressure
9. Fluency in Cantonese and Mandarin required
