The firm has established offshore platforms (UCITS, Cayman) and has significantly strengthened its product lineup in Hong Kong across ETFs, fixed income, and multi-asset strategies over the past three years. While its global institutional business is well established, the Hong Kong ETF and local institutional coverage remains at an early stage, offering a unique platform to build and grow.
Job Description
- Develop and expand ETF institutional client coverage within Hong Kong, including local banks, insurances, securities, and financial institutions.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive ETF adoption and business growth.
- Promote ETF strategies alongside broader product capabilities (equities, fixed income, multi-asset).
- Work closely with internal investment, product, and regional sales teams to deliver tailored client solutions.
- Conduct client meetings, roadshows, and product presentations.
- Monitor market trends, client demand, and competitor landscape to refine sales strategy.
- Coordinate with overseas teams for non-Hong Kong markets while maintaining a primary focus on local institutional clients.
- 5 - 10 years of solid ETF sales/ distribution experience in Hong Kong.
- Strong coverage of local institutional clients (asset managers, banks, financial institutions).
- Bachelor's degree from a top-tier university (211/985 or QS Top 100 preferred); Finance-related background and/or CFA is a plus.
- Strong command of English and familiarity with Hong Kong ETF market dynamics.
- Deep understanding of ETF products and institutional investment frameworks.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate effectively in a build-up stage environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across local and international teams.
- Direct reporting line to CMO/ Deputy CEO (Hong Kong), offering strong visibility and influence within the organization.
- Clear path to become Team Leader of ETF Sales.
