The Company

Sunshine Asset Management (Hong Kong) Limited ("Sunshine AM HK") is the international investment arm of Sunshine Insurance Group (HK-listed). Founded in 2021 and SFC-licensed (Type 4 & 9) since 2023, it serves as the group's offshore platform and QDII manager for Sunshine Life. Backed by its Beijing parent (est. 2012, managing > RMB 740bn), Sunshine AM HK provides tailored advisory and asset management solutions for long-term client growth.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a diligent Credit/ Fixed Income Analyst to take ownership of the firm’s end-to-end credit evaluation and monitoring process for fixed income investments. This is a central role within the investment team, directly supporting portfolio managers and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for the internal credit assessment of fixed-income investments by the company, including but not limited to conducting due diligence, writing credit rating reports, tracking and monitoring credit risks, and reporting material events
  2. Responsible for conducting credit assessments, compiling approved counterparty lists, as well as maintaining tracking and monitoring of counterparties and reporting material events
  3. Responsible for establishing and maintaining various approved issuer lists, restricted lists, and investment pools for fixed-income assets and products
  4. Responsible for conducting credit risk research, performing credit case studies, writing credit research reports, and assisting in the development and maintenance of the firm’s credit rating system (including internal rating models and scorecards)
  5. Responsible for managing and maintaining the credit rating system and various credit rating databases, ensuring the effective application of the credit rating system
  6. Complete other tasks assigned by senior management

Requirements:

  1. Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related discipline; CFA qualification or progress towards CFA is a strong advantage
  2. 3–5 years of experience in credit analysis, ideally within fixed income asset management, a buy-side firm, or a rating agency (e.g., S&P, Moody’s, Fitch)
  3. Experience covering offshore credit is highly desirable
  4. Strong proficiency in financial statement analysis, financial modelling, and due diligence
  5. Familiarity with Bloomberg, Wind, or other credit research system tools
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin; proficiency in English
  7. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
  8. High level of attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and ability to deliver under tight deadlines
