Your new company

Our client is an established Bank with a longstanding presence in Hong Kong and Greater China. With a strong private banking franchise and continued investment in control and governance functions, they are looking to hire a Process & Quality Monitoring Manager to strengthen their Private Banking control framework.

Your new role

• Conduct pre-trade, post-trade and ongoing surveillance on private banking transactions and regulated sales activities.
• Monitor adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements and sales process standards.
• Prepare management information, trend analysis and reporting on sales quality and surveillance findings.
• Identify control gaps, process weaknesses and recommend remediation actions to strengthen governance frameworks.
• Support investigations, compliance reviews and responses to regulatory enquiries when required.
• Partner closely with Front Office, Compliance, Risk and other control functions on monitoring outcomes and risk mitigation measures.
• Participate in process enhancement initiatives and continuous improvement projects across the Private Banking business.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting or related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in banking controls, surveillance, monitoring, compliance, risk management or audit functions.
• Experience within Private Banking is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of private banking products and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with HKMA and SFC regulatory frameworks.
• Strong analytical, investigation and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese; Mandarin would be advantageous.
