Our client is a rapidly growing technology business operating within the SaaS sector, backed by ambitious expansion plans across multiple markets. With a strong growth trajectory and an active acquisition strategy, the business is seeking a commercially minded Chief Financial Officer to partner closely with the CEO and investors in driving both organic and inorganic growth.

Your new role
Reporting directly to the CEO and Board, you will serve as a key member of the leadership team, driving strategic decision-making, M&A execution, post-acquisition integration, and financial transformation initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:

• Lead all corporate finance activities, including mergers, acquisitions, strategic investments, and fundraising initiatives.
• Partner with the CEO and Board on business strategy, growth planning, and capital allocation decisions.
• Evaluate acquisition opportunities, conduct financial due diligence, build valuation models, and lead transaction negotiations.
• Oversee post-acquisition integration, synergy realisation, performance monitoring, and value creation initiatives.
• Develop robust financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and KPI frameworks to support a fast-scaling SaaS environment.
• Drive operational excellence and improve financial visibility across global business units.
• Build strong relationships with shareholders, investors, banks, legal advisors, and external stakeholders.
• Support potential future capital market activities, strategic partnerships, and fundraising exercises.
• Lead and develop a high-performing regional finance team.
• Frequent overseas travel is required to support acquisitions, portfolio companies, integration projects, and investor engagement.

What you'll need to succeed

• Qualified accountant (CPA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent) and degree qualified in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related disciplines.
• Proven experience within technology, SaaS, software, internet, or high-growth digital businesses.
• Strong M&A track record including acquisition execution, valuation, due diligence, negotiations, and deal closing.
• Hands-on experience managing post-investment and post-acquisition integration projects.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to partner senior management and investors.
• Experience working with private equity, venture capital, growth equity, or investor-backed businesses is highly preferred.
• Excellent financial modelling, business analysis, and strategic planning capabilities.
• Willingness to travel frequently across the region and internationally.
• Fluent English and Chinese (Mandarin) are mandatory.
