We are seeking a Business Analyst / Senior Business Analyst to support the continued expansion and institutionalization of its Systematic business across APAC.
Based in Hong Kong, this individual will be a key operating partner to Systematic portfolio managers, quantitative researchers, and traders. The role will sit at the intersection of Investment, Technology, Data, Operations, and Business Management, helping ensure that the APAC Systematic platform has the data, infrastructure, workflows, controls, and cross-functional support needed to scale effectively.
This is a broad, hands-on role combining project management, front-office enablement, data and technology coordination, and process improvement. The successful candidate will be highly organized, technically fluent, commercially minded, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.

Key Responsibilities
Front-Office Partnership & Support
- Serve as a trusted day-to-day operating partner to APAC Systematic PMs, researchers, and traders.
- Support investment teams with data enablement, technical coordination, workflow support, and high-touch issue resolution across the research, and operational lifecycle.
- Maintain a high standard of service delivery, appropriately prioritizing requests and coordinating with partner teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Act as an escalation point for complex, high-impact, or recurring business, data, technology, execution, and operational issues.
- Drive root-cause analysis and partner with Technology, Data, Trading, and Operations teams to implement durable solutions.
- Identify recurring user pain points and opportunities to improve tools, processes, documentation, controls, and user experience.
Onboarding & APAC Business Expansion
- Lead and coordinate end-to-end onboarding for new Systematic PMs and quant researchers in APAC.
- Ensure day-one readiness across access provisioning, data, research environments, cloud and on-premises infrastructure, trading workflows, risk controls, and operational processes.
- Support onboarding of new strategies, products, asset classes, brokers, markets, execution venues, and trading workflows.
- Maintain and continuously improve onboarding playbooks, readiness checklists, documentation, access workflows, and ownership models.
- Help represent APAC business needs, regional market considerations, and local operating requirements in global Systematic planning and delivery forums.
Project & Program Management
- Manage the full lifecycle of cross-functional initiatives, including intake, requirements gathering, scoping, prioritization, planning, delivery, implementation, and post-launch review.
- Maintain a consolidated view of the APAC Systematic project portfolio, including milestones, dependencies, risks, decisions, owners, and escalation items.
- Lead strategic initiatives related to regional growth, new strategy integration, research-platform enhancements, data enablement, market access, trading infrastructure, workflow design, and process automation.
- Prepare concise project status updates, risk summaries, and decision materials for senior Systematic leadership.
Data, Technology & Vendor Enablement
- Partner with Data, Technology, and investment teams to improve the discovery, onboarding, adoption, and effective use of market data, alternative data, and internal data products.
- Support market-data and alternative-data vendor onboarding, including business requirements, licensing and entitlement workflows, access, stakeholder coordination, data quality, and research/production readiness.
- Translate investment, research, and trading requirements into clear functional and technical specifications for engineering, data, and product teams.
- Coordinate requirements across research environments, backtesting platforms, data pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and production trading systems.
Qualifications & Experience
- 7+ years of relevant experience in program/project management, front-office support, data enablement, or a related role within financial services.
- Experience in a hedge fund, systematic asset manager, quantitative trading firm, broker-dealer, market maker, exchange, or similarly fast-paced trading environment is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with the systematic investment lifecycle, including quantitative research, market and alternative data, portfolio construction, execution, risk, and performance monitoring.
- Experience supporting investment professionals and working effectively with front-office stakeholders in a high-pressure, high-accountability environment.
- Strong understanding of electronic trading workflows and the operational processes supporting front-office activity.
- Familiarity with market-data and alternative-data vendors, data feeds, entitlements, licensing, data quality, and data-pipeline workflows is beneficial.
- Technical fluency with Excel and Python. Familiarity with AWS, Git, Airflow, databases, data pipelines, Jira, Asana, Confluence/Wiki, Grafana, or comparable tools is advantageous.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, written communication, and stakeholder-management skills, including an ability to synthesize complex matters for senior audiences.
- Highly organized, proactive, self-directed, and comfortable navigating ambiguity.
- Experience working with teams across APAC, the U.S., and Europe; flexibility to work across time zones and travel as business needs require.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline preferred.
