An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Process Improvement professional to lead strategic business improvement initiatives across a large and complex organisation. This role will focus on streamlining operations, improving ways of working, reducing inefficiencies, and driving measurable business outcomes through process optimisation, technology enablement, automation, and continuous improvement practices.
Your new role
Working across a diverse stakeholder group, you will lead end-to-end process improvement initiatives from discovery and analysis through to implementation and benefits realisation. You will partner with senior leaders, subject matter experts, and multidisciplinary teams to identify opportunities for improvement and deliver sustainable business outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading complex end-to-end process improvement initiatives across business functions.
- Facilitating workshops and engaging senior stakeholders to define issues and opportunities.
- Mapping current and future-state processes and designing practical improvement solutions.
- Identifying opportunities to leverage technology, automation, AI, and digital tools to improve efficiency.#
- Collaborating with business, technology, governance, data, policy, and change teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Measuring and reporting on benefits, including productivity gains, risk reduction, customer/member experience improvements, and operational efficiencies.
- Developing organisational capability in process management and continuous improvement through coaching, training, and mentoring.
- Proven experience leading business process improvement or continuous improvement initiatives in complex environments.
- Strong process mapping, process analysis, and business transformation experience.
- Demonstrated ability to engage, influence, and manage senior stakeholders.
- Experience facilitating workshops and driving cross-functional collaboration.
- Exposure to automation, AI, digital transformation, or technology-enabled process improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and benefits realisation capabilities.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience
