Join a large public sector organisation delivering a significant technology and cybersecurity program. The organisation is seeking an experienced Identity Project Manager to lead complex identity and access management initiatives within a large enterprise environment.
Your new role
Reporting to the Program Manager, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple identity-related projects, including rapid onboarding and offboarding, simplified user onboarding, role-based access controls, delegated access, multi-factor authentication self-service reset, SailPoint, Entra ID and Active Directory. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the delivery of identity and access management initiatives from discovery through to implementation.
- Translating business and technical requirements into clear project deliverables.
- Managing project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues and approvals.
- Coordinating delivery across identity platforms, security, integration, ServiceNow and change teams.
- Working closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, senior leaders and third-party vendors.
- Overseeing architecture, proof-of-concept and test planning activities.
- Preparing governance documentation, options and recommendations.
- Managing delivery risks, blockers, security considerations and escalations.
- Supporting data migration readiness across connected systems.
- Providing clear project reporting, governance and stakeholder communication.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience managing complex, end-to-end technical projects.
- Experience delivering identity and access management, identity governance or broader cyber security projects.
- Knowledge of identity technologies such as SailPoint, Entra ID, Active Directory and multi-factor authentication.
- Experience in service design, service catalogue development or business architecture.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and consulting skills.
- The ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and third-party vendors.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities, dependencies, risks and governance requirements in a complex enterprise environment
- A long-term contract, with the possibility of extension.
