Lead the selection, architecture and implementation of a new enterprise GRC platform for a large organisation. Your new company
Join a large Queensland-based organisation embarking on a significant Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) transformation program. As part of a broader uplift of risk, compliance, audit and business continuity capabilities, the organisation is currently undertaking a market tender to select a new enterprise GRC platform. This presents a unique opportunity to influence the platform selection process before taking a leading role in the architecture, implementation and technical assurance of the chosen solution. This is an initial 6-month contract based in Brisbane, with a strong possibility of extension as the program moves from vendor selection into delivery.
Your new roleAs the GRC Technical Lead / Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role across both the assessment and implementation phases of the program.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, project teams and technology leaders, you will be responsible for evaluating vendor solutions, producing solution architecture artefacts and defining how the selected platform will integrate into a complex enterprise environment.
Following platform selection, you will transition into a Technical Lead capacity, overseeing solution delivery and providing ongoing architectural assurance to ensure implementation aligns with approved designs and enterprise standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting tender evaluations and platform assessment activities
• Developing solution architecture documentation and High-Level Designs (HLDs)
• Defining integration patterns across enterprise systems
• Acting as the central technical point of contact across architecture, infrastructure, integration and delivery teams
• Providing technical leadership and design oversight throughout implementation
• Performing technical assurance activities to ensure delivery aligns with approved architecture
• Collaborating with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions

What you'll need to succeedWe're seeking an experienced Solution Architect or Technical Lead with a strong track record delivering enterprise platforms in complex environments.
You will ideally bring:

• Previous experience leading or supporting the implementation of a GRC platform
• Strong Solution Architecture and High-Level Design experience
• Experience overseeing end-to-end technology implementations from selection through delivery
• Demonstrated technical leadership across multiple delivery teams and stakeholders
• Strong enterprise integration and systems architecture experience
• Experience performing architecture governance, design reviews and technical assurance activities
• Understanding of GRC capabilities such as risk management, compliance management, audit management, controls management and business continuity
• Experience with one or more of the following platforms: Protecht, Archer, ServiceNow IRM / GRC, IBM OpenPages, MetricStream, SAI360, LogicGate, AuditBoard, OneTrust, Riskonnect, Resolver, CAMMS
