RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Duties: Vice President with Goldman Sachs Bank USA in Richardson, TX. Serve as part of the risk function for the Investment Management division responsible for building out the collections strategy, developing new channel opportunities and enhancing customer assistance programs. Leverage frameworks to build a testing agenda that improves customer segmentation and behavior based strategies. Drive customer insights and influence leadership on the value of these. Ideate and design new loss mitigation tools to help customers successfully pay off loans. Design, implement and monitor loss mitigation hardship programs. Work closely with business partners, legal, compliance and data analytics teams to ensure new collections strategies are fully compliant and successfully monitored, while applying knowledge of federal consumer protection reporting and regulatory requirements, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA); Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA); Unfair, Deceptive, or Abusive Acts or Practices (UDAAP) under the Dodd-Frank Act, as well as relevant state and local collections laws. Stay abreast of all applicable regulations and compliance requirements with possible interactions with internal and external regulators. Assess analytical, reporting and forecasting frameworks created in Tableau to monitor credit risk and operational performance metrics. Develop reports and presentations for senior management and executive committees. Manage one Senior Analyst.

Job Requirements: Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Engineering, Statistics or a related field. Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related position with requisite analytical and managerial experience leading a team of analysts to create and execute collections strategies. Must have five (5) years of experience with: Understanding of collections legal and compliance regulatory requirements, including: the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA); Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA); Unfair, Deceptive, or Abusive Acts or Practices (UDAAP) under the Dodd-Frank Act. Demonstrating knowledge of collections strategies and executing with safety and soundness in mind. Partnering with cross-functional teams to help lead execution of a cross-functional product in the consumer lending arena. Designing and executing A/B testing. Designing, implementing and monitoring collections hardship programs. Performing data analytics and statistical modeling to develop reporting frameworks, using programming R, Python, or SQL, Tableau, and segmentation software tools such as CART or Angoss. Using presentation skills and communicating effectively with senior executives. Possessing an understanding of collections operations and how to partner with operations to drive results. 25% Travel is required to be on-site with collections teams to meet with risk groups.
