Principal Information Security Analyst - Security Automation Engineer /Architect


Responsibilities:
As a security automationengineer / architect, you will be responsible to partner with our DevOps teamsto design, test and build detective, responsive and preventative controls toensure a secure coding platform.


  • Propose, develop and implement automation of security controls tosupport DevSecOps methodologies.

  • Provision, deploy and maintain security tools in collaborationwith the application development teams.

  • Research current trends in DevOps tools in order to design best inclass DevSecOps. Orchestrate multiple Proof of Concept initiativesto insure the AppSec team remains on the cutting edge of vulnerabilityprevention, detection and remediation.

Consults on a senior level andprovides professional support for major components of the company's informationsecurity infrastructure. Contributes to the development and implementation ofsecurity architecture, standards, procedures and guidelines for multipleplatforms in diverse system environments. Consults with the business andoperational infrastructure personnel regarding new and existing technologies.Recommends new security tools to management and reports and provides guidanceand expertise in their implementation.

Reviews and analyzes highlycomplex data and information to provide insights, conclusions and actionablerecommendations. Defines, implements, and applies area-wide security and/or COBpolicies and standards by leveraging in-depth knowledge of globally acceptedinformation security and/or COB principles. Addresses high risk securityconcerns or incidents. Recommends course of action to mitigate risk and ensuresthat appropriate standards are established and published.

Contributes to the achievementof area objectives.

Qualifications
Technical Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required
  • 10-12 years of experience in information security or related technology experience required
  • Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operatingsystems and administrative functions (Ops Support)

  • Working knowledge of SDLC or CI/CD pipelinetools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Sonarqube, Selenium, Docker, Chef, Puppet, JIRA,etc.

  • Working knowledge of secure code testing toolsusing static code analysis, dynamic analysis and Interactive ApplicationSecurity Testing.

  • Abilityto work independently to assess and address system issues


Preferred Skills:
  • Application security experience

  • CCSP and/or CSSLP certification

  • Experience working on an Agile team

  • Working knowledge of security frameworks such asNIST and ISO 27000
