Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in Jersey City, NJ. Full Stack Software Engineer within the People Technology team responsible for engineering solutions that are applied across a number of risk functions such as Compliance, Conflicts Resolution, HCM and Enterprise Risk Management. Technical lead and developer within the People Technology team, responsible for developing a number of applications. Analyze, enhance and maintain a suite of web applications using Java, Python, C++, .NET, Angular, REACT and relational and non-relational databases. Engage in the entire software development lifecycle, including interacting with end users to elicit requirements and convert requirements into technical solutions and interacting with end users to resolve support issues. Lead small teams through all the stages of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including business requirements gathering, systems design, development, testing and providing work estimates and raising critical project issues such as technical/project risks. Formulate design and implement requirements in the system following coding best practices and utilizing Object-Oriented programming and design patterns concepts. Engage in test-driven development using Junit. Perform build and release management using scripting technologies. Package and deploy code to a set of UNIX servers across different test and production environments. Support the system with business users and communicate ideas clearly and concisely to non-technical users of the system.

Job Requirements: Must have Bachelor's degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or a related field with two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related role. Must have two (2) years of experience with: developing applications using Agile methodology; designing technology solutions that support Financial Services, Compliance, Enterprise Risk, Regulations and Control Frameworks; contributing to full stack application development using the following: Java, Javascript, Angular, REACT, Node, MongoDB and other open source technologies; performing User Experience Design and Implementation; working with and leading developers, by providing systems design, code review and task assignments, as part of a global software development team, and communicating status and design across multiple regions; communicating technical information verbally and in writing across all levels of seniority, from the team level to C-level executives; developing object-oriented software using Java and Python scripting; working concurrently on multiple technical projects; evaluating and integrating new/emerging technologies into existing data platforms; working with design patterns, Object Oriented Programming and Best practices of coding; using Java unit testing tools including Junit; and employing Javascript including AngularJS and JQuery.
