Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst
Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst for its Tampa, Florida location.
Duties: Build new application features and technology solutions based on changes requested by clients and business proposals. Execute SDLC activities including design, develop, implement, test and deploy critical reference data applications. Build New Business Code for Master Central (MC) applications. Enhance existing code based on business rules, change requests and SWIFT financial standards. End to end development and delivery of code using Java, Sybase, Oracle 12c, Tibco, Tibco EMS, Tomcat, Messaging components as part of current application platform. Use MySQL, MS Access, UNIX scripting, Oracle WebLogic. Architecture definition applying tools Server, Storage SRDF & NAS, replication, RDBMS, SQL, Linux, Oracle, Web Logic, Java 1.8, Tibco. Like to like upgrade of existing features and providing a more robust and higher service available stack across various components of MC applications. Database management using RDBMS. Support and build application features for ISG account reference data platform. Onboarding new applications and services to AMC Accounts tech platform ensuring complete automation of code and associated services. Perform Disaster Recovery planning and implementation. Migrate and upgrade technology based on End of Version Life cycles and L3 Support. Build switchover mechanisms for Java, Oracle WebLogic, Tibco EMS, Tibco JMS, JScape and NDM. Continuous Development and Continuous Integration of technology stack and business requirements. Design system architecture with use cases and task workflows. Use JIRA, Jenkins, Bit Bucket, TeamCity and IBM Urban Deploy. Develop and upgrade of technology Infrastructure to Cloud services using Redhat 7.5, Oracle 12c Release II. Support the MC application for Citi's clients globally and utilize Web Logic 11, Web Logic 12c, Tibco for MC Queue and Topics, Oracle, MQ for messaging, and Java 1.6 and Java 1.7. Support lines of business to adopt centralized services of Corporate Action and changes to existing software.
Requirements: Requires a Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, IT or related field and 3 years of experience as Programmer Analyst, Architect, Software Engineer or related position involving software development. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in the stated fields and 5 years of the specified progressive, post-baccalaureate experience. 3 years of experience must include: End-to-end development and delivery of code using Java; Oracle RDBMS database management, Oracle SQL; Automation of code; Serving in a client-facing role; Design of system architecture with use cases and task workflows. At least 1 year of experience must include: MySQL, MS Access; UNIX scripting, Oracle WebLogic, Tibco; Shell scripting and JAVA 1.8 for compliance in distributed platform architecture; Configuring and managing data workflow using NDM and JScape; JIRA, Jenkins, Bit Bucket, TeamCity and IBM Urban Deploy; Architecture definition for server, Storage SRDF & NAS, replication, RDBMS, Linux, Redhat; SWIFT financial standards; Designing application and system procedures for downtime tolerance; Disaster recovery regulatory requirements; and Building switchover mechanisms for Java, Oracle WebLogic, Tibco EMS, Tibco JMS, JScape and NDM.
