We're looking to add a skilled Senior Test Engineer to our Child Maintenance team. Ideally you'll have a background in an agile working environment, creating, modifying, and be confident maintaining automated test suites in a modern programming language (preferably Java), using Selenium.
Our team works within a wider DWP Digital community, to improve services for children, parents and the taxpayer. We're working on delivery of a complex set of inter-dependant projects, both in-house and outsourced, agile, hybrid and waterfall, user-centred and technology led.
This is a high profile programme that ensure children and carers can access the support and finances they need. There is real opportunity for exposure and progression, and some genuinely unique and crunchy engineering problems to solve.
This is a role that combines hands-on testing skills, with strategic leadership. You'll influence the test tools and methods we use, and help us improve the way we test in DWP.
You will make a real difference to the way millions of people interact with public services. You'll improve user journeys and work with genuine thought leaders, all driven by an extraordinary purpose.
