Technology Services is 1500 people working across 10 portfolio led teams. We provide the foundations upon which digital services for DWP are developed and operate.
The Senior Solutions Architect will be part of our Communication and Collaboration team. Right now, we're focused on moving DWP's data.
Your primary objective over the next 18 months will be transformation and architectural design of storage and retention of structured data into a wholly cloud-based O365 solution using Sharepoint/Azure.
We're involves disbanding and retiring the legacy platform document collaboration involving a huge span of users. This impacts more than 90,000 colleagues and many more agents linked to DWP. This is an in-house Cloud based solution of a scale and complexity, that we don't think you'll see anywhere else!
We've already delivered the O365 roadmap and adoption and retiring of the legacy platform has started. We need you to take us to the next level.
You'll work with the document collaboration team to understand and translate business objectives into robust, scalable solutions for IM within a Microsoft 365 environment.
You'll also have the opportunity to provide technical leadership and make a unique and direct contribution for leading edge digital transformation. You'll influence and collaborate with a broad range of multi-disciplinary stakeholders and technical experts.
