We're currently recruiting for a Product Owner for the Infrastructure Services Team at DWP Digital - an exciting role working on one of Europe's biggest transformation projects.

Infrastructure Services and Networks has a very technical ring to it. Our official job title is Infrastructure Engineer - Network Services Product Owner. Sounds pretty techy.

Please don't let that put you off. You don't need to be an engineer or technician.

Our team is not just made up of just highly skilled engineers. We do have many engineering brains, but our team is made up of so many different skill sets.

That's why it works and it's how we are able to build and maintain one of the most intelligent network infrastructures in Government and across Europe.

As our Product Owner you will be responsible for a product set, building relationships across the organisation to optimise the service delivery, managing finances, setting the direction and the roadmap. You will be responsible for making sure we're achieving a great return on investment.

It's certainly a varied role. From dealing with incidents to developing product delivery plans, managing the money - always something to keep you busy.

And it is a really exciting time to join our team. We're going through our transformation programme and you could be part of that. We are a strong, welcoming and passionate team who are eager to learn from others and to keep driving each other forward.

So, what skills, knowledge and experience will you need to show us?

• You can develop effective relationships with key stakeholders and work collaboratively with colleagues across multi-functional teams.
• You have good experience of effectively communicating at different levels across a range of stakeholders using a variety of methods including digital, written and verbal.
• You have good experience of interpreting complex and/or technical information and communicating to colleagues, stakeholders and customers using the most appropriate style and format
• You have good experience of working under pressure and ensuring actions are completed in a timely manner.
• You have experience of analysing and interpreting complex data, using sound judgement to recommend considered approaches to improve situations and tasks.
• You deliver excellent customer service which balances quality and cost effectiveness.
