We are looking to add 5 Business Analysts to 3 areas which operate under the umbrella of Technology Services: Hybrid Cloud Services, Fraud Error and Debt and End User Services (Mobile Platforms).Technology Services provides the foundations upon which digital services for DWP are developed and operate. We deliver secure, effective and cost-efficient digital infrastructure services and to run live IT operations that support DWP business objectives. We do this by putting users and quality of service at the heart of what we do.Our team is made up of 1,500 colleagues working collaboratively across 10 portfolio-led teams in a fast-moving environment. Our teams deliver an end-to-end suite of digital products and services that support DWP colleagues and citizens in an ever-evolving technology landscape.
All three of these roles require solid core BA skills like defining, eliciting and managing requirement. A good understanding of Agile working in a multidisciplinary team is helpful too.You'll work with a range of stakeholders to understand emerging needs so relationship management will be key. You'll also ideally need to be able to understand emerging trends in tech services.For the Hybrid Cloud role we would expect some experience of working on a Cloud First platform. You'll also have an interest in technology and how software is built so you work with developers to explore problems where there is no user involved. We use work with an AWS Microsoft /Azure tech stack, using Agile methodologies.
