On the back of another strong financial performance, an award-winning Asset Management Firm based in the heart of London, is currently looking to hire a Vice President Business Development candidate, to help market their long-only strategy. The role will entail responsibility for the DACH regions (Germany, Austria and Switzerland etc.), and will report and work closely with the Head of Business Development. The ideal candidate will have around 7-10 years (or relevant) experience although they will consider more junior candidates. The AUM is circa $2bn, and the strategy is long-only, however experience with this product is not necessary

On the back of another strong financial performance, an award-winning Asset Management Firm based in the heart of London, is currently looking to hire a Vice President Business Development candidate, to help market their long-only strategy.

The role will entail responsibility for the DACH regions (Germany, Austria and Switzerland etc.), and will report and work closely with the Head of Business Development.

The AUM is circa $2bn, and the strategy is long-only, however experience with this product is not necessary

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the fundraising for the long-only strategy across the DACH region.
  • Manage and develop relationships with DACH institutional client base.
  • Have a good understanding of the fund product, to prepare and deliver highly technical pitches.
  • Ultimate raise assets across the region
  • Assist in hiring more junior staff to support the marketing material process
  • Work with the client services team to strengthen the marketing materials to progress the bid winning process.
  • Liaise with other internal teams to ensure strategy is being supported

Requirements

  • Native (or fluent) in German, strong working proficiency in English
  • Experience working in a sales or relationship focused role in the German-speaking market
  • Willingness to travel to allocated regions
  • Experience in a long-only is not necessary
  • Confident, team-player, who can also act as a self-starter
