This high-performing fund, focuses on SME investments in the UK, taking an open-minded approach to its investments. It invests in management buy-outs and growth capital opportunities, investing in the region of £2-10m. The fund takes an active role in its portfolio to accelerate growth. Having invested as a team for the past 20 years, it has a long-established track record and a loyal base of investors behind it. It is a small team and as such you will be given significant responsibility from day one.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support the investment team with the deal execution process: financial modelling, due diligence, negotiation and execution, as well as post-deal monitoring of investments
  • Take specific responsibility for work streams, and run parts of a transaction
  • Work actively with the portfolio post-acquisition

YOUR PROFILE:
  • Strong transactional background linked to private equity deals either from within the private equity industry or corporate finance
  • Ambition and drive for investments into the UK mid-market, with a forward-thinking approach for their success
  • Demonstrable ability to work independently when required, and to be a team player too
