Norges Bank Real Estate Management is organised as a separate division within Norges Bank Investment Management and is managing the unlisted real estate portfolio of the Norwegian Government Pension Fund Global (GPFG).

Norges Bank Real Estate Management is seeking a dedicated and results oriented professional for the position of a Business Intelligence Developer in the Data and Analytics team of the IT department. The IT team is responsible for all IT services in Norges Bank Real Estate Management.

 

Your role will involve ensuring that we have excellent data available to stakeholders across the business through the cubes you develop. To complete your duties, you will need to interact with colleagues across all levels of our global organisation.

 

You will have the opportunity to be a part of an international organisation and influence the development of the IT area.

The position will report to the Manager of the Data and Analytics team and will be in Oslo or London. Some travel will be required.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Development of OLAP SSAS Cube and/or SSAS Tabular models
  • Development of dimensional data models and Data Marts models in our Data Warehouse
  • Build Data Visualizations including dashboards and reports
  • Ability to deliver on projects utilising knowledge of SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS
  • Utilise your experience of data warehouses, database technologies, standards, and methodologies to develop high quality solutions
  • Apply good analysis and design skills, critical thinking and analytical problem solving
  • Work from business requirements to perform ETL, Reporting and Analytics
  • Build Data Visualizations including dashboards and reports
  • Quality Assurance for BI development
  • Document your code, data dictionaries and business glossaries
  • Provide excellent customer service through timely and professional responses to requests from global stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a structured and methodical way

Main Qualifications:

 

  • University degree with strong academic records
  • A solid background in the Microsoft SQL Server suite, SSIS, ETL methodologies and T-SQL to support the ability to work independently
  • Good knowledge of Relational and Dimensional data modelling
  • Strong DAX, MDX and TSQL development skills
  • Experience with MS SQL Server suite, including SSIS, SSRS, SSAS
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel including PowerPivot
  • Familiarity with other visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI
  • Experience with cloud-based solutions such as Azure will be considered an advantage
  • Understanding of data analysis and statistical principles
  • Knowledge of Real Estate and Finance systems will be considered an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills with strong proficiency in English. French or German language skills will be considered an advantage
