Selby Jennings is working with a global Research company serving Investment Management firms, Management Consultancies, Hedge funds, and Private Equity firms. They are looking for a New Business Sales professional with 5+ years of Sales Experience within the financial services.
Responsibilities
- Identify new business leads and decision makers by mapping out organisational charts of prospect organisations
- Initiate, develop and close new business development opportunities across EMEA through prospecting and lead generation to maximise sales in a wide array of client types ranging from asset managers, hedge funds, and private equity firms to consultants and others.
- Work closely with Head of EMEA to maximise territorial sales through active outreach (cold calls/emails) into targeted prospect accounts to identify business need and competitive and market intelligence
- Manage inbound leads to properly qualify prospects and coordinate further follow up in coordination with appropriate business development lead
- Collaborate with client management to identify appropriate contacts within current accounts within the relevant markets.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- A minimum 5+ years of related sales experience within Institutional sales
- Financial services background not required but would be beneficial
- A self-starter with strong organisational and multi-tasking skills
- A strong communicator with the ability to articulate contractual and financial points to leading executives and clients.
- Task-oriented, diligent and intellectually curious with a growth mentality
- Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced, team environment
