User Access Management Lead - Banking - Edinburgh - InfoSec - IAM

A Large banking group are looking for a UAM Lead to joining their Systems governance team (covers UAM/IAM). This person will be a technical expert on all areas of Information Security policy with specific focus on User Access Management. Your primary function is to support the Application Owners to fulfil their accountabilities under the banks standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Creation and maintenance of user access manuals.
  • Interaction with internal stakeholders.
  • Responsible for the periodical review of Business Impact Assessments and EUCs, in line with Group standards
  • Review application access requests for colleagues ensuring no conflict of interests and toxic combinations
  • Review and maintain Role Based Templates and access levels contained within continue to be "fit for purpose"
  • Review and maintain User Access Manuals
  • Conduct annual Control Validation Testing to ensure continued compliance to the standards for user access management
  • Provide assurance to the Application Owners re robustness of the Recertification process
  • Drive improvements and support an environment of continuous improvement
  • Own and manage relevant relationships to ensure Systems Governance is working in partnership with all relevant parties
  • Keep abreast of industry developments appropriate to business area and the wider market and understand how the external environment, including the regulatory landscape will influence change in the area.

Required Skills:
  • UAM/IAM background
  • Experience with reviewing and creating user access manuals
  • Experience in I.T Controls and Governance
  • Experience officially or unofficially leading others
  • Experience with completing business impact assessments
