You'll be working with our trailblazing Identity and Trust team initially.

Working at the leading edge of tech and thinking for issues of Trust, ID, Authentication and verification, we're responsible for all elements of internal authentication within the DWP estate. This is primarily based around Active Directory, but includes several other supporting infrastructure components, including DNS, DHCP, MIM, PKI, Windows Hello and ADFS.

We own the service, and are accountable for all day-to-day operational change and project related design elements. We own the Identity roadmap and have a multi-year plan to deliver an enhanced service, with several long term pieces of work ongoing.

We want a Senior Infrastructure Engineer and Infrastructure Engineer to help us provide 365/24/7 Identity services for DWP's users. Our aim is to provide a modern, reliable and flexible service that allows simple, secure access to DWP devices, data and systems using industry best practice for:

• Authentication (SSO, MFA, Digital Certificate Services)
• Authorisation (Desktop, Application)
• Administration (Audit, Privileged Access Management)

You will:

• Act as a senior escalation point and Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide design, support, advice and guidance for issues relating to all Identity technologies. This includes but isn't limited to Active Directory, ADFS, DNS, DHCP, PKI, Azure AD, and MIM
• Produce detailed and accurate High Level Designs, Low Level Designs, Installation Guides and Design documents.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Identity Services Roadmap. Design and implement solutions that align to the Identity Services roadmap.

What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?

• 3rd / 4th line knowledge of Active Directory / DNS / DHCP / ADFS / MIM.
• 3rd / 4th line knowledge of PKI / Certificate Services (3rd / 4th Line).
• Experience of working in a large, multi-supplier environment.Experience of implementing and working with Privileged Access Management systems and RBAC.
