About Business Area

The role will sit within the Retail Division supporting the Lex Autolease and Black Horse businesses. They are both leaders in their sector and looking to continue their digital transformation. We are responsible for the design, development and support of their core business external facing systems.
We are currently embarking on a significant Digital transformation that will deliver an Omni-channel customer experience generating streamlined customer journeys and enabling the growth of our business areas.

The Role

We are looking for experienced Digital professionals who can manage a technical team to deliver software, in an Agile environment, and provide the ongoing support and development of those systems. They will be required to provide technical oversight of changes within their area

As the leader of this team, you must be prepared to provide and encourage new thinking within the wider team to continuously develop the systems to meet the needs of an ever changing, digitally aware, customer base. You'll need to show awareness of the DevOps culture and demonstrate you've looked beyond pure development and engaged in the full delivery lifecycle.

The successful candidate would be expected to have experience in HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, Git, jQuery, AngularJS and any experience using Backbase or a similar Customer Experience/Content Delivery Product would be an advantage. Exposure to TDD or BDD based development would be an added advantage.
