The Role Responsibilities
Senior Solution Architect
(Technical Engineering / Development)

Job Description
This hands-on role will offer the candidate an excellent opportunity to further develop their career in a financial institution across all asset classes in Standard Chartered.

The scope of the role consists of Engineering on Remedy ITSM Suites 8.x, 9.x , 18.x(ARS, SRMS and CMDB) as Chief Service Management Architect. The objective is to provide a rationalized, up to date, risk free, integrated ITSM framework, across all SCB countries globally.
The person must have practical and proven experience of ITSM Engineering / Development. The person will be expected, by their example, to raise the rest of the team, which they will lead, to a high level of competency in these technologies.

The person shall be a mentor to the rest of the team. Success shall be measured equally on deliverables, peer recognition of the team such as increasing year by year the number of awards achieved by the team and the fast track career advancement of team members to meet their aspirations.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
• Assist in interpreting requirements.
• Define and implement a comprehensive BMC ITSM & ServiceNow ITSM System.
• Implementation knowledge on BMC ARS 18.x, 9.x, ITSM Suite 18.X,9.x, SLM 18.X ,9.x, BMC Remedy Migrator, Web services, API's and Plug-ins, Remedy Developer Studio.
• Good knowledge of SRM 18.x,9.x, MyIT 18.x, Knowledge Management 18.x, Remedy Workflow customizations using Developer Studio.
• Good knowledge of BMC Discovery, BMC Atrium Orchestrator and BMC TrueSight application.
• Strong ITIL Framework concepts.
• Experience in proposing and implementing architecture of Custom integrations.
• Experience in configuring and working on Remedy Server-group environment.
• Previous experience of working overlay concept.
• Should have ITSM integration experience with other remedy & web service integration.
• Knowledge on installing, configuring and applying patches to BMC Remedy ARS, mid-tier, ITSM, SRM, and Atrium CMDB.
• Experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting BMC Remedy AR Server issues.
• Experience with Mid-tier and troubleshoot issues with load balancer.
• Experience on Remedy Upgrade & SOAP UI will be an advantage.
• Good in customer interaction.

Key Requirements
• A technologist hands on and energized by technology (ITSM Tools).
• Committed to drive excellence through best practices and new approaches.
• Ability to do rapidly delivery with quality.
• Experience in designing business processes and implementing in tool as per best practices.
• Sound knowledge in ITSM domain with clear visions of modern IT.

Technical skills required
• Candidate should have cleared BMC Remedy 18.x, 9.x Online Assessment Test.
• Good to have BMC Certified Professional certification.
• The potential candidate must possess deep ITSM and SCM knowledge, and have been widely exposed to designing and developing business processes in tool.
• At least 10+ years experience in development and Implementation of the BMC ITSM Suites and SCM tools (BMC Remedy 18.x, 9.x, workflows, ITSM Suites and SRMS development with MyIT experience) focus on BMC Service Request Management System 18.x, 9.x and MyIT/SmartIT.
• Valuable having previous experience in other vendor tools, and in ITSM deployments.
• Should have sound knowledge in designing Standard SRDs, PDTs and AOTs.
• Good experience in workflows and AIF creation.
• Must have experience in implementing MyIT/SmartIT.
• Life cycle management for all above mentioned products.
• Hand on experience on installation, configuration, troubleshooting, BMC Remedy Suites.
• Best practice experience around creation and maintenance of Business Service models.

Non technical skills required
• Excellent communication skills, strong analysis and problem solving skills.
• Strong perseverance and diligence towards attaining goals and effective time management.
• Strong organizational / project management skills with ability to manage numerous deliverables in a timely and effective manner.
• Self-confident individual with high level of ambition, self motivation and dedication.
• Be able to maintain and influence a diverse internal network of stakeholders, setting expectations both for technical and non technical (management).
