We're presently mandated by an ambitious firm to source talented credit investment analysts for their Italian team. The role will give the individual the opportunity to pursue a career in leveraged credit investments in an entrepreneurial environment.

Our client is an ambitious and expanding firm, and their plans for growth in the Italian markets are significant. The team will work closely with other international credit investment teams within the firm's global operations, and is led by a highly regarded management team. Based in Milan, the role will sit within an expanding investment team covering a host of credit markets. The responsibilities will include:

• Investing in distressed, special situations, direct lending. non-performing and unlikely-to-pay credit
• Analysis, investment and underwriting of credit opportunities
• Liaising with both internal and external counterparts to originate and source investment opportunities

The role will suit candidates with excellent credit analysis skills and a strong comprehension of the investment process. Candidates from hedge funds, asset managers and trading desks would be highly valued, as would those from IBD/advisory/big four consultancy backgrounds. Distressed Real Estate experience would also be additionally useful and attractive.
