Tech Support Specialist

As part of the Department of Financial Market, the position involves extensive contact with HFTs, Quants and proprietary trading firms by providing technology support for assisting clients to integrate with the Exchange. The primary responsibility of the position is to work closely with key clients so to ensure a seamless integration with Exchange’s connectivity APIs. The role would also require to maintain close dialogue with product managers, and participating in the development of connectivity and data product of OKEx.

What the day to day looks like:

  • Provide integration support on exchange’s API for key institutional clients
  • Participate in product development cycle and recommend improvement to API products team
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to deliver all API releases and promptly deliver the message to affected institutional clients
  • Maintenance and on-going improvement of API documentation
  • Build monitoring tools on API performance, robustness, latency and stability

Ideal candidate must have:

  • Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant disciplines
  • Java/Python programming experience
  • Self-driven starter to deliver support services efficiently to the highest quality.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Fluent in English
  • 2-3 years in banking/finance/FinTech IT Field
