We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Social Media Manager.

Principal responsibilities
  • ​ Responsible for providing social listening, insights and business support to the Asia Pacific region on all aspects of social media.
  • Work closely with regional counterparts to ensure the highest level of social media service and support is available within the region
  • Critical global brand reputational management and alerting, including customer experience failures for HSBC and its subsidiaries
  • Analyse brand related social media content for HSBC and its subsidiaries, through the global social media listening tool, providing insights to key business stakeholders across all Global Businesses and Functions

  • Proven management skills and experience in various roles such as technology and business operations in a leading and fast pace dynamic organization
  • Progressive and proven and progressive experience preferably incorporating, social media, IT and business operation management principles
  • Excellent communication, inter personal and negotiating skills, focusing on remote and written communications, inclusive of ability and experience in interacting with senior and external regulatory personnel
  • Excellent decision making and problem solving ability
  • Sound judgmental skills to identify and resolve problems
  • Experience of managing resources using appropriate communication, delegation and planning skills, preferably in a matrix functional environment
  • Ability to motivate and lead people, employing appropriate management styles
  • Budgetary financial management background
  • Strong analytical skills to understand and use metrics to draw conclusions
  • Ability to deal with conflictive situations with success and strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to make recommendations to upper management, based both on subjective and objective information
