Senior Manager, Client Operations - Global Asset Management

Global Asset Management, the investment management business of the HSBC Group, serves HSBC's worldwide customer base of retail and private clients, intermediaries, corporates and institutions invested in both segregated accounts and pooled funds. Global Asset Management fulfills its purpose of connecting HSBC's clients with investment opportunities around the world through an international network of offices in approximately 30 countries, delivering global capabilities with local market insight.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Manager, Client Operations.

Principal responsibilities
  • Provide effective and professional support to the team in handling client operational matters
  • Deliver professional and efficient client operational support and service to distributors, clients and internal teams
  • Actively work with Client Directors and Client Services to accommodate client operation requests
  • Communicate with internal and external parties to ensure timely delivery of information and service related to client operation matters
  • Act as key stakeholder in providing input on new process, new product and new operational flow


Qualifications
Requirements
  • Process solid knowledge on fund, fund distribution and fund operations
  • Process strong written and oral communication skill in Cantonese, English and Mandarin and able to convey ideas in a clear and accurate manner
  • Be able to manage conflicting priorities based on resources available
  • Be able to spot irregularities and identify root cause
  • Process strong problem solving skills
  • Be able to work independently and under pressure
  • Provide ongoing process improvements to enhance client experience
  • Good team player, good attention to details and strong coaching skills
  • University graduate
  • Relevant years of experience in financial industry in client service or operational role
  • Relevant years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Good understanding of financial markets and investment products
  • Well developed communication skills including an ability to interact effectively with people at all levels
